Compassionate Touch® Interactive Webinar Coach Training
Compassionate Touch training empowers care partners to achieve goals related to person-centered care and reduction of unnecessary use of antipsychotic medication.

Compassionate Touch Certified Coach Training

Upon successful completion of the six hour e-learning training course, participant is designated as a Compassionate Touch® Certified Coach and as such, may share techniques with other professionals and families, have access to an online portal of coach resources, receive quarterly newsletters and be invited to special Coach Connect quarterly learning webinars.

Participants will receive a comprehensive training manual, technique supplies and a Compassionate Touch Caregiver pin.

Compassionate Touch® Certified Coach Training:

Compassionate Touch® Certified Community Designation

This designation is for eldercare communities who wish to train a minimum of 3 coaches and provide a benchmark assessment post-training. Upon completion, communities will be issued a Compassionate Touch Community Certificate for lobby or other designated areas.

$575 per community – includes 3 coach trainings and training packs, Benchmark Assessment and 30-minute Q & A with a Certified Trainer, Lobby Certificate, Social Media or Website Badge. Additional coaches $195 each. Material shipping fees apply.

Certified Community License Renewal: $295 and includes one coach training, discounted training fee for additional coaches ($195), continued access to online resources, Coach Connect newsletter and webinars, and a Benchmark Assessment and 45-minute Q & A with Certified Trainer.

Registration Process
  • Registration and payment MUST be completed no less than 14 days prior to Webinar start date to allow for Training Pack shipping time and registration emails to be sent out.
  • Since the online portion of the webinar occurs on two separate days over a course of 4 days, please choose a date that will allow you to complete the training during that week. Participants will not be allowed to span multiple webinars. Each webinar must be completed within the chosen time-slot. Prior to the chosen webinar for which you initially registered, if you find you are unable to complete the training, we can re-schedule you for a later webinar date
  • Participants MUST register with their company email address (no personal emails)
  • Participants MUST register for a Webinar date on this website under TRAINING Registration
  • Upon completion of registration, Training Packs and Manuals are shipped to participants for arrive prior to Webinar date
  • Prior to the training date, registrants will receive an email confirmaton to the email address given to us during the registration with a link to the webinar training.
How does the Webinar Training work?
  • Our webinar training is the same high-quality training as our in-person training except that it is conducted via the Internet with our specialized online training program by skilled instructors in real time.
  • Webinar training is 6 total hours, which consists of 3 sessions; a 2 hour introductory webinar, 2 hour self-directed on-site practice, followed by 2 hour online wrap-up and online assessment quiz.
  • This interactive training will prepare and authorize coaches to facilitate this highly immersive experience for staff, families and your local community. Participants must have their manuals and Training Pack with them in order to participate in the Webinar.
  • Webinar participants are required to have a laptop or desktop PC (Windows or Mac) with a built-in webcam, speakers, and microphone. An Internet connection with adequate speed is also required. Prior to the webinar, you will receive instructions on how to test your computer and Internet connection speed to acertain whether both are suitable for this webinar course.
