OHIO NURSING HOME COMPASSIONATE TOUCH® CMP GRANT

The Compassionate Touch® program will help Ohio certified nursing homes improve the care provided to residents with dementia by incorporating the Compassionate Touch® techniques into their day-to-day care practices. This three-year project (2019 - 2021) is limited to 140 nursing facilities throughout the state that need improvement in anti-psychotic usage and that might most benefit by adding a new non-pharmacological approach.
