The University of Northern Iowa's Dementia Live® Simulation House is a uniquely designed to provide an immersive experience of what it is like to live with dementia. Established by Dr. Elaine Eshbaugh and the gerontology program, it is the only simulation of its kind in Iowa that takes place in an entire house, rather than just a room. This setup aims to reflect the reality that 80% of people with dementia live at home. This project has been continuously booked, highlighting its impact and the community's interest in dementia education.
